Hi, I’m Amit Baviskar , a Data Engineer with a strong focus on building scalable, cloud-native data platforms using Microsoft Azure Fabric. My journey began in civil engineering, but I quickly discovered my passion for designing robust data pipelines and architectures that turn raw data into trusted, analytics-ready assets.
I specialize in developing end-to-end data solutions using Azure Fabric components, such as One Lake, Data Factory, Lakehouse, Spark, and Synapse, enabling the efficient ingestion, transformation, and governance of data at scale. I enjoy architecting modern Lakehouse-based systems that support both batch and analytical workloads while ensuring performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Through hands-on projects and continuous learning, I’ve built strong expertise in Python, SQL, Azure, data modeling, and orchestration, along with experience integrating analytics layers using Power BI and maintaining data quality and lineage using best practices. I’m driven by solving real-world problems—making data clean, accessible, and actionable for business and engineering teams.
Outside of data engineering, I enjoy exploring emerging cloud technologies, reading, and watching movies. I’m always eager to collaborate, learn, and build intelligent data platforms that help organizations make faster, smarter decisions using Azure Fabric.
